Obama wins the Presidency as the 44th and 1st Black President of the United States of America!

There is hope for my son!!! That's all I could think about! My daughters will have stronger husbands helping them remain queens and loving them enough to love and not fuss and fight! Just a transformation of me and my brown brothers and sisters! We of course must instill this feeling in us and lift ourselves and our new President up in Unity! We did... and we gotta keep on doing!

Life will be grand...is more possible then maybe!

Obama is leading in the polls... Black Entertainment is at its best in supporting him and getting people to register to vote... people are working hard to get the education gap in urban areas together, healthcare will get better, taxes will get better, deficit will rise like the gas prices and then fall, the ozone will be ok, we will come out of the war!!! Life will move along... its a hard road to fight facing all the setups in the past 8 years but, it will be a good run...Life!

I can expect a better school system for myself (teacher) and kids...
I can expect to be over the financial stress and be debt free!
I can expect to get a piece of the American Pie.
I can expect the best... and that's the attitude I stick with! 8-)

It is time to Pray folks... Obama and Rhee and many of us are all thinking the same... we are all going out on a limb...but that is the status of life now... we cannot stay the same... we were slaves for over 400 years and 8 years of Bush has damn-managed and damaged us even worse than before... from our pockets, to our air we are breathing, to our homes, and natural disasters without relief, to our kids and their future deriving from our own upbringings, from parents, and grandparents who are bitter and jealous.... the pattern is worsening... don't you see it???

Its time to Persuade folks... you must rub each others backs... remain calm...cool...collected, that is who you are... to blessed to be stressed...and if you present that to one another...from me to you...everything will go over much more smooth....

It is time to Prove what our NEW leaders are proposing to us, with great whole-heartedness... without disbelief.... eyes on the prize...collected...non-agressive, but firm...and well put! This is the key folks... never let them see you sweat...

Do your best in Tripple P-PRAY, PERSUADE, PROVE...and the best will come in added blessings, may God be the glory!

Everyone is entitled to an opinion but...great people have to start somewhere.... just because someone has EXPERIENCE doesn't make them good at their job. This is a worldwide epedemic! The veteran's strife! I wouldn't even trust myself if I get older and accomplish nothing or change nothing about myself or the many lives I effect each day. Don't get caught up with that. Obama has plans... I really haven't heard many from McCain. I don't trust the Republicans...and if Mcain was to win, I would have to quickly adjust my life and hurry up and make $5 million (maybe investing in oil) or more if I want to make it out of middle class! WTH is that???? I can't trust that.. especially anyone who agrees with Bush. I don't care if YOU ran for the President... as long as you have a plan, and plan to act it on it, rather than bash your opponent and use your family and hours of service as a crutch for your "experience" then I'm fine.... Obama is getting downplayed for a reason: race and age...I know you and I both have media backgrounds... and you can't trust media either because it is majority opoinion and not facts (these days). Lastly, this reminds me of what I am fighting for for Rhee's proposal,., THE BIG PICTURE. If we keep worrying about those who already had their chance to help make a difference, decade after decade, nothing... then what is the use of trusting "the 20th century vets???" The BIG PICTURE IS OUR FUTURE... most of them have less than 20 years to live..when the rest of us, not to mention our own children and their children's children etc... have over 20 years to survive!!! Should we make it harder for ourselves and even worse for them because some people have EXPERIENCE???? Well when is their experience going to pull through for us???? Now that's a day's worth of food for thought!!! Nice debating with ya, but I think I will leave this alone for now... 2 months away from today... we will know the answer!!!

TODAY HAD ITS UPS AND DOWNS AND UP AGAINS!

It started off great...he said it first!"Happy Anniversary baby"he said at exactly midnight last night... we kissed. :) I got up for the union meeting and not knowing how long I was gone...he went and did other things...we agreed to meet at the movie theater by 3. DJ was still in daycare and Milan was too but on the way to see the Lion King at the Kennedy Center and dinner beforehand...anyway, we went to see Stepborther...vulgar, but funny as heck!!!

THAT'S ONE PART ABOUT US...ME AND DOOM, WE ARE 28 AND 30 YEAR OLD CHILDREN!!! AND THIS MOVIE WAS ALL ABOUT BEING CHILD-LIKE! LOL...WITH LESS CUSSING! 8-0

Now...afterthe movie...something struck a nerve in me and I caught a quick attitude... oh h wanted to buy a book...its OUR anni..I don't want to buy a book..I want to go home qickly and do something "adult" and then pick up the boy before we go to dinner... we got into it...I got emotional...he dropped me off and I had a nap...he was gone for an hour... I got worried and called and asked did he pick up DJ, he said yes...and he would be home soon...he came with gifts... :)

he said sorry, gave me a beauiful card, flowers...the ones from our wedding day, white lillies, key lime pie I love so much (next to chocolate cake)! and a bottle of bubbly!!! I was in shock!!! I immediately felt beter, but that wasn't it!!! We went to the wharf...came home and he cooked me a lobster and shrimp dinner!!!! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!:)
